Invitation

Invitation to the 48th Annual Meeting of the Detroit Historical Museum held on May 18, 1970 at the Detroit Historical Museum. The program includes a presentation of a Detroit Common Council Memorial Resolution to Mrs. Henry D. Brown by Mel Ravitz, president of the Detroit Common Council, as well as a talk by architectural designer and author of "The Buildings of Detroit: A History," W. Hawkins Ferry. The cover of the invitation features a pencil or charcoal drawing of the three flags flying over the museum's lawn on the corner of Woodward Avenue and Kirby Street.
