Invitation
Envelope and invitation to a Thanksgiving dinner written and sent by William Woodbridge to Dr. L. Abbot of Detroit. The invitation is handwritten on the verso of William Woodbridge's calling card. The note reads:
Springwells Nov. 23 1852
D-Sir,
Will you join us in a family dinner on Thanksgiving Day? We dine at one o clk P.M.
