Journal by Roy M. Bates who worked for the Graham-Paige Motors Corporation from 1944 to 1945 during World War II. The corporation was involved with construction of various types of vehicles for the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy. It has newspaper clippings about various personnel, plant maps, materials lists, cost estimates, office correspondence, and miscellaneous notes. The back pages include some personal correspondence and Christmas cards. Several folded pages are tucked inside the back cover of the journal.
