Lease

Lease, "by and between Victor Moross, of Hamtramck in the County of Wayne Michigan" and "Antoine Vicar, Philip Vicar, and Francois Voulais, of Detroit, Michigan" for the land on which the Moross House was constructed, dated 1938. The lease indicates that the parcel of land to be leased to Moross is "that certain parcel of land situated in the city of Detroit & designated as lot no. thirty five, on the on the Gouin Farm, on the south side of Jefferson Avenue as the same as marked on Farmer's map f the City of Detroit, published in 1835, being one hundred feet in front on said Jefferson Avenue, by two hundred feet deep; together with the dwelling house, out houses and all other."
