Letter

Pages two through four of a four page typewritten letter on Hupp Motor Car Corporation letterhead presumably written by Frederick Dickinson to an unknown recipient on June 7, 1926, concerning the activities of the company's advertising department and the resources and connections available to it through the Adcraft Club of Detroit. The letter describes how Hupp's advertising department has expanded to handle advertising for outsider groups including the Detroit Convention Bureau, the Detroit Community Fund, the Y.M.C.A., the Boy Scouts, and the Junior League. The letter also includes tips concerning keeping advertisements entertaining and courtesies to extend toward guest speakers at meetings. The initials "M.H." appear in the header of each page, and beneath the unsigned signature block on the last page are the letters, "FD/G."
