Letter

Typewritten letter written by Arthur Hopkin Gibson (Robert Hopkin's grandson), inviting an unnamed recipient to a showing of his art, dated March 20, 1964. The letter is on Arthur Hopkin Gibson stationery. The note reads:

You and your guests are cordially invited to an advance showing of my water-color paintings at the Grosse Pointe Galleries, 16903 East Jefferson Avenue., Grosse Point, on Sunday April 5th, from 3 P.M. to 9 P.M. The general public exhibition will not open until later.

As the grandson of Robert Hopkin, Michigan's renowned artist, and author of the biography of his life, I will be glad of the opportunity to personally greet you.
