Letter
Typewritten letter from John Christian Lodge to Henry D. Brown, Director of the Detroit Historical Society, dated December 28, 1949, expressing his pleasure in the detail of the plans for the Detroit Historical Museum. The message reads:
Dear Mr. Brown:
Having had a more than average acquaintance with plans and specifications of architects for public buildings, I can say that I have never examined any of these which could have compared for completeness and accuracy with those you sent me from Architect Kapp.
I hope that the building may be opened on the City's 250th birthday, July 24, 1951.
Thanking you very much for sending me this material, I am
Sincerely your,
John C. Lodge.
