Letter

Leaf containing a portion of a handwritten letter sent to Anna Wilson by her sister who has accompanied Anna's daughter Margaret Wilson to the Plaza Hotel in New York City for treatment for her bad knee. In the letter the sister reports on Margaret's condition and their boarding and expenses. The portion reads:

that much & 09 [?] much better off without it. I have a sunshine cake in the room which I sometimes give to her. I promised her some today but she forgot all about it & I thought [?] well. I want to keep her stomach & [?] in good conditions.
I left off some of the bandages & her knee is swollen to much as the stocking will be all right I think. I wonder how many times M. has said "Auntie" [?] I am [?] this letter she says "[?] writing the same letter," she thinks it takes a long time.
I enclose a little slip of M's expenses, I [?] to make this as small as possible. Thee knows I said her [?] should be [?]. Her [?] came [?] for [?] & of course I get [?] for her

[?] I think [?]. I see in 2 weeks we have taken twenty six [?] of 42 [?] about [?] Sixteen weeks that I have got in my room and that [?] loved a good deal.

Now M. is getting [?] I must [?]. She has been [?] but is tired of that.

[?] the doctor for he may be all right [?] but some way I feel that he is much broken in health. Mrs. Wright is coming up tonight to see about my things. I am so sorry thee is not feeling well.
