Letter
Half-folded letter sent by Anna Wilson to her sister who has accompanied Anna's daughter Margaret Wilson to the Plaza Hotel in New York City for treatment for her bad knee. In the letter Anna writes about her sisters children, whom she is caring for. The letter reads:
Pine lake[?]
Friday just after supper
My dear sister,
Received they note [?] today. Am glad for our hearing such [?] and before that will saying it. The children are all out in the farmers house-very well and mostly barefooted. I asked them what I should tell mamma for therm. And Ray said [?] tell her if she is going to use my camera all herself. She can just pay me back my money. Anna said she is going to buy me a little Indians doll and
before [?] Ray last night [?] I took the girls. I am a little [?]
It is pretty here in the city and Fred comes home tied and cross but I have less [?] in Detroit a day.
Mother writes that she is going to have an older girls a [?] and [?] she thinks the [?] She will be crossing [?] Mrs. Bennett is going to be there next Sunday for a few days. I hope the [?] out. [?] have a [? ]good [?]. Anna said "a bit of candy too." They do seem to miss their dear parents very much. Anna slept [?] good. Minnie does very nicely. So don't worry a minute about them, for we shall take care of them.
Ray went down just before supper & [?] himself up in white waist [?] pants & shoes & stocking [?] I thought all that [?]
