Letter

Envelope and letter mailed from Kiwanis Club No. 1, Detroit, Inc. to Mr. Charles R. Cowdin of Detroit, Michigan. The envelope is postmarked July 11, 1954, however the letter is dated May 18, 1953. The enclosed typewritten letter is from George J. Haas, of Miami, Flordia, a founding member of the Kiwanis Club expressing his confusion over certificates issued by the Kiwanis Club which contain a blank for his signature, but are not mailed to him to be signed. The letter is printed on George J. Haas Company letterhead. "Mr. Charles A. Cowdin," and "copy," are handwritten in pencil at the top of the letter.
