The Main Sheet

One copy of the Detroit Yacht Club monthly magazine, "The Main Sheet," dated October, 1934. The cover has black title text and shows a black and white nighttime photographic image of Perry's Victory & International Peace Memorial lighthouse on South Bass Island in Lake Erie. The image is framed by ornate architectural decorations. The magazine contains 28 pages of black printed text on white paper and features short articles about club events, members, lists of committee member names, sailboat racing, the Detroit Lions and Tigers, and society news. Black and white photographic images are included with the text and many advertisements are shown throughout the magazine.
