The Main Sheet

One copy of the Detroit Yacht Club monthly magazine, "The Main Sheet," dated February, 1942. The cover has red title text and shows a black and white nighttime photographic image of Perry's Victory & International Peace Memorial lighthouse on South Bass Island in Lake Erie. The image is framed by a wheat kernel wreath design. The magazine contains 15 pages of black printed text on white paper and features short articles about club events, member activities and groups, lists of committee member names, and club finances. Black and white photographic images are included with the text and many advertisements are shown throughout the magazine.
