The Main Sheet

One copy of the Detroit Yacht Club monthly magazine, "The Main Sheet," dated October, 1942. The cover has orange title text and shows a black and white photographic image of the yacht, White Cloud, under sail on the Detroit River. The smokestacks of the Detroit Edison Company Conners Creek power plant are visible in the background. The magazine contains 12 pages of black printed text on white paper and features short articles about club events, member activities and groups, boating news, and lists of committee member names. Black and white photographic images are included with the text and many advertisements are shown throughout the magazine.
