The Main Sheet

One copy of the Detroit Yacht Club monthly magazine, "The Main Sheet," dated June, 1934. The cover has light blue title text and shows a black and white photographic image of three catboats sailing on the Detroit River with the city water intake and Belle Isle shoreline visible in the background. The image is framed by ornate architectural decorations. The magazine contains 28 pages of black printed text on white paper and features short articles about club events, members, lists of committee member names, catboat racing, power and sailboat news, and society news. Black and white photographic images are included with the text and many advertisements are shown throughout the magazine.
