Manual, County of Wayne, Michigan, 1926

One hardcover book entitled "Manual, County of Wayne, Michigan, 1926," that was prepared by the Board of County Auditors. The book has a simulated brown leather cover with a gold-colored embossed image of the triumphal charioteer, "Progress," which was part of a statue group on the Wayne County Building. A black and white photographic image of the statue is also shown on one of the front end papers of the book. The book contains 300 pages of black printed text on white paper and gives a history of the county along with discussions of the various county offices, boards, commissions, judicial system, and government. Many illustrations, photographic images, and fold-out maps are included with the text. An index is included at the back of the book.
