One map entitled "Driving Time." The map is drawn in black ink on mylar at a scale of 1 inch = 62.5 miles. It shows the eastern United States and Canada including state and provincial boundary lines and the names of selected large cities. The map has been overlaid with multicolor bands that are centered on Detroit. A legend in the lower right corner shows driving times that correspond with each of the colored bands along with the approximate cumulative total population (nearest 1,000,000) that is contained within each group of bands.
