Guide Map of the City of Detroit
One map entitled "Guide Map of the City of Detroit." The map is printed in black ink on white paper and shows streets, street names, lots, lot numbers, address numbers at block corners, churches, ward numbers and boundaries, city boundaries, streetcar lines, and railroad lines. An alphabetical list of street names is also shown along with a list of recent street name changes. In addition, the names of former ribbon farm owners (with private claim numbers) are shown along the shoreline of the Detroit River. The map was "Published by Silas Farmer & Co., 31 Monroe Ave., corner Farmer St., Detroit," and is dated 1886.
