Woodbridge Farm
As Divided by the Commissioners in Partition
One plat map entitled "Woodbridge Farm. As divided by the Commissioners in Partition." The map is drawn at a scale of 1 inch = 200 feet and is printed in black ink on slightly yellowed paper that has a cloth backing. It shows street names, lots, and lot numbers as well as lot and right-of-way dimensions. The map area covers a fairly narrow strip of land and appears to be one of the old ribbon farm properties that were prevalent along the Detroit River in the early days of the city. The strip of land is approximately centered on Trumbull Avenue and extends from Woodbridge Street northward to the D. M. & T. R. R. (Detroit, Monroe, and Toledo Railroad) right-of way. There are many notes that are handwritten in pencil on the map, but most are too faint to read. A handwritten note in the upper left corner shows "Original plat recorded February 6, 1865, in Liber 1 of plats on pages 146 & 147."
