D&S Stone Piles East & West of Livingstone Channel

One memorandum, dated May 3, 1966, from J. C. Gelling of the Dunbar & Sullivan Dredging Company. The memo is typewritten in black ink on white paper that is watermarked "Eaton's Diamond White Bond." It provides a discussion and chronology of excavated earth/stone piles on Stony Island from 1903 up to 1966. The memo includes two sheets of yellow, lined paper, dated 5/3/66, which show sketches of Stony Island and adjacent areas where stone had been piled.
