Sanders menu, dated Friday, November 12, 1940. The menu was intended to be half-folded, but the crease has been flattened and reinforced with a strip of heavy tape on the verso. The recto is printed with an illustration titled, "The Grand Boulevard Store 1919," of the Sanders store in the Henry Building on the southwest corner of Woodward Avenue and Grand Boulevard. A short passage is also included about the company's history at the location, including their eventual expansion to three stores along Grand Boulevard. The recto is divided into the sections "Breakfast," "Luncheon and Dinner," and "Desserts."
