Half-folded Pontchartrain Wine Cellars dinner and wine menu, dated December 10, 1970. Hors d'oeuvres, dinners, and desserts are listed on the front, beside purple illustrations of angelic chefs. Wines are listed inside accompanied by a series of cartoons captioned in French continuing the simile printed along the top, "Un repas sans vins c'est un journée sans soleil" (a meal without wine is a day without sun). A mailing label addressed to the Detroit Historical Museum, printed with a cartoon of the Pontchartrain Wine Cellars building at 234 West Larned is affixed to the back cover, over a series of illustrations evocative of daily life in inter-war France printed with the signature "Leggeïn[?], Paris '29."
