Half-folded menu-mailer from the London Chop House at 155 West Congress Street, dated Tuesday, January 25, 1940. An illustration of a chef working over a large bowl, and a message from owner Lester Gruber are printed in red on the cover. The menu is divided into the sections, "Sandwiches," "Omlettes," "May We Recommend," "Cheese," "Salads," "Vegetables," "Potatoes," "Dinner Specials," "Cocktails," "Relishes," "Desserts," and "Beverages." The menu also notes that the chef is Eddie Dobler, "the perch king of America," and entertainment is provided by Jo Ann Maylan with the Jolly Friars, and Pura Reyes with Don Ramon's Continentals. The menu is addressed to Michael Jalan at the Seville Hotel.
