Half-folded J.L. Hudson Company Dining Rooms menu, dated May 17, 1950, bearing an illustration by E.E. Anthony of Capitol Union School in white on green on the front cover. A brief passage about the school and early education in Detroit is on the back cover. Within the menu is divided into the sections "Soups and Appetizers," "Shopper's Luncheon One Dollar," "Sandwiches," "Desserts," "Fruits," "Hudson Made Ice Cream and Sundaes," and "Beverages." A note along the bottom of the menu's interior informs, "Detroit's Police Department asks everyone's help in its traffic safety program, "Watch Out For Kids."
