Half-folded J.L. Hudson Company Dining Rooms menu, dated March 21, 1950, bearing an illustration by E.E. Anthony of the Michigan Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument and Central Market in Cadillac Square in 1875 in white on red on the front cover. A brief passage about the market is on the back cover. Within the menu is divided into the sections "Soups and Appetizers," "Shopper's Luncheon One Dollar," "Sandwiches," "Desserts," "Fruits," "Hudson Made Ice Cream and Sundaes," and "Beverages." A note along the bottom of the menu's interior informs, "Detroit's Police Department asks everyone's help in its traffic safety program, "Watch Out For Kids."
