Half-folded dinner menu-mailer from the London Chop House at 155 West Congress Street, dated Sunday, December 21, 1941. An illustration of a man and woman in 19th century dress dining, and a message from owner Lester Gruber are printed in black on the front cover. The menu is divided into the sections, "Dinner Specials," "Potatoes and Vegetables," "Salads and Cold Buffet," "Omelettes," "Savories," "Fine Cheese," "Desserts," "Beverages," and "Sandwiches," as well as a wine list. The menu notes that the chef is Edward Dobler, "the Perch King of America," and entertainment is provided by Connie Barleau with Ruby and his Orchestra as well as pianist Chet Everhart. The menu also advertises "The Rivals" at the Cass Theatre and "Sonja Henie" at the Olympia. The menu is addressed to Michael Jalan at the Seville Hotel.
