Half-folded supper menu-mailer from the London Chop House at 155 West Congress Street, dated February 28, 1943. An illustration of a restaurant dining room scene is on the front cover. The menu is divided into the sections, "Supper Specialties," "Appetizers," "Cold Buffet," "Soups," "Sandwiches," "From the Grill," "Fish," "Desserts," "Fine Cheese," "Beverages," "Imported Wines," "American [Wines]," and "Drinks." The menu notes that the chef is Edward Dobler, "the Perch King of America," and entertainment is provided by Frank Gagen and his Music, and Sammy Dilbert's Orchestra with Ethel Howe and Marthe Errolle, as well as caricature artist Hy Vogel. The menu also advertises "Tobacco Road" at the Shubert-Lafayette Theatre, "Leaning on Letty" at the Wilson Theatre, and "Porgy and Bess" at the Cass Theatre. Daily luncheon specials, and famous dinner items are promoted on the back.
