Half-folded J.L. Hudson Company Dining Rooms menu, dated September 28, 1953. The front and back cover features twelve illustrations from the collection of Paul B. Victorius of early automobiles. Within, the menu is divided into the sections, "Soups and Appetizers," "Shopper's Luncheon," "Sandwiches," "Desserts," "Fruits," "Ice Creams and Sundaes," and "Beverages." The menu notes that the tax rate is three percent and that "Detroit's Police Department asks everyone's help in its traffic safety program, 'Watch Out For Kids.'"
