Half-folded J.L. Hudson Company Dining Rooms menu, dated February 14, 1950, bearing an illustration by E.E. Anthony of the Russell House and the Michigan Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument in white on copper on the cover. A brief passage about Russell House as well as the proceeding and following hotels on the same site, the National Hotel, and the Pontchartrain Hotel, is on the back cover. Within the menu is divided into the sections "Soups and Appetizers," "Shopper's Luncheon One Dollar," "Sandwiches," "Desserts," "Fruits," "Hudson Made Ice Cream and Sundaes," and "Beverages." A note along the bottom of the menu's interior informs, "Detroit's Police Department asks everyone's help in its traffic safety program, "Watch Out For Kids."
