Half-folded Sanders menu dated Friday, May 8, 1942. A color illustration of a girl reading to a seated elderly couple and another woman, all clad in turn-of-the-century clothing, is printed on the cover above the text, "Mother's Day, Sunday May 10th," partially rendered to resemble cross-stitching. An advertisement for two and three pound Mothers Day candy assortments is on the back cover. Breakfast, luncheon, supper, and dessert items are listed within. A handwritten card listing "Chow Mein on Chinese Noodles, Roll 25¢," is stapled to the upper left corner of the interior.
