The Pine Room

One menu from "The Pine Room" restaurant at Hudson's downtown Detroit store. The bi-fold menu is made of heavyweight paper that has a pale yellow exterior and white interior. The front cover shows color drawings of embroidered designs in an early American motif. Printed text reads "The Pine Room" and "The J. L. Hudson Company, Detroit." The interior pages contain dark brown printed text that shows the resaturant food offerings and prices. Three complete luncheon specials (60¢, 75¢, and 85¢) were offered, but all other items were listed á la carte under various category headings. The menu is dated June 17, 1938.
