The Sanders Menu, Vol. 1, No. 14

Half-folded Sanders menu dated Monday, October 12, 1944. Articles and advertisements are printed on the front and back cover concerning Sweetest Day, paper conservation, an early electric automobile owned by the Sanders family, Sanders products as gifts to service members overseas, a pictorial guide to rolls made by Sanders, jobs for veterans, and the healthy and convenient nature of ice cream. A three-panel comic strip on the back cover shows a group of women deciding to work at Sanders while their husbands are at war. Breakfast, luncheon, supper, and dessert items are listed within. A card offering, "Spanish Rice and Link Sausage in Casserole, Roll 35¢," is stapled to the upper left corner of the interior.
