The Sanders Menu, Vol. 3, No. 21

Half-folded Sanders menu dated Monday, September 30, 1946. The exterior is printed with the article, "City Hall Boasted Dungeon and Deer," celebrating the 75th anniversary of City Hall with features on its clock, the function of its tower, the statues of famous Detroiters by Julius Melchers and the cast iron deer that decorated the building, its basement jail cells, and the cannons on the lawn commemorating Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry's victory in the Battle of Lake Erie during the War of 1812. Breakfast, luncheon, supper, and dessert items are listed within. A card stapled to the upper left corner of the interior lists, "Salmon and Vegetable Pie in Casserole, Roll 45¢."
