Newsletter. Neighborhood Bulletin No. II published by the Citizens' Housing and Planning Council of Future Detroit, Incorporated on October 23, 1950. Three pages stapled together on the theme of neighborhood improvement. Advice on how to petition for installation of streetlights, a brief history of the Public Lighting Commission, mention of the planning of the Detroit Historical Museum's Streets of Old Detroit exhibit--which would cover 1840, 1870, 1900, and 1920--and statistics comparing public lighting between 1895 and 1945 are included. The letterhead on the first page includes the header, "Action Bulletin," the address, 1017 Dime Building, as well as a list of officers and members of the board of directors.
