The Evening Fire-Side or Weekly Intelligence

One copy of the newspaper, "The Evening Fire-Side or Weekly Intelligence," Vol. I, No. 51, pp. 241-248, which was published in Philadelphia and was dated July 13, 1805. The newspaper was printed in black text on tan-colored linen paper. It contains short stories, poems, letters to the editor, and short news articles. Of particular interest is a news article in the lower section of the middle column on page 248 under the heading, "Domestic," which reports the Great Fire of Detroit that took place on June 11, 1805.
