Note, Promissory
One promissory note, dated November 13, 1869, that was issued by the Richmond & Backus Company. It was printed in black text on white paper. The note terms were handwritten in black ink text and indicated that $250 was to be paid to John C. Worthington on May 13, 1871, at the Second National Bank of Detroit. A handwritten endorsement on the verso indicated that the note was assigned to Rev. George Worthington.
