Half-folded pamphlet advertising the Michigan Mutual Liability Company, through an account of a a socialite, Angelique Piquette, her daughter, Josette, and nephew, Pierre Campau, visiting Belle Isle in 1862. A lithograph representing the trio is printed on the cover. The story is concluded by a l'envoi about contemporary 1934 issues--a traffic stop and New Deal programs. The advertisement for the Michigan Mutual Liability Company is printed on the back cover.
