Pontchartrain: a Name with historical Significance

Trifold pamphlet published by the Pontchartrain Hotel containing information about the history of the site of the Pontchartrain Hotel, Count Pontchartrain, Antoine de la Mothe Cadillac, the founding of Detroit, the flags flown over Detroit, and historical artifacts and plaques displayed in the hotel. The pamphlet also includes a map overlaying the position of Fort Pontchartrain and the Detroit River shoreline of 1701 to downtown Detroit and the shoreline c. 1965. The pamphlet is printed on cardstock with a black on red printing of a painting of Cadillac, a Native American man, two figures in a canoe, and of tipis outside the walls of the fort.
