Permit

Manufacturers' Permit, mounted on linen, issued by Bureau of Safety Engineering of the Department of Buildings and Safety Engineering of the City of Detroit on October 17, 1928, declaring that the Carpenter Chemical Company Corporation at 103-9 West Atwater Street has paid ten dollars to the City of Detroit as per a 1914 ordinance regulating inflammable liquids. The permit is printed with the signature of Halstead Mills, the City Safety Engineer, stamped with that of Frank Burton, the commissioner, and signed by F.W. Dennest Jr., the clerk.
