Plat Plan of City Owned Property Located at Atwater & Riopelle Street
One blueprint survey plan entitled "Plat Plan of City Owned Property at Atwater & Riopelle Street." The plan shows a rectangular parcel of land (4.92655 acres in size) that is located at the southwest corner of Atwater and Riopelle Streets. The plan indicates that the property is the site of a city power house building. Property line dimensions are given along the four sides and angles are shown at all four corners. The south line of the property is located along the Detroit River. Adjacent property to the west is owned by Lakeport Sand & Gravel Company. The property located east of Atwater Street is owned by the Huron Portland Cement Company. A blue ink stamp in the lower right corner of the sheet shows "J. S. Stringham, City Engineer, Nov. 14, 1935, Dept. of Public Works, City of Detroit."
