Postcard
One postcard which shows a sepia-toned photograph of a steam-powered cutter suction dredge that is moored near a shoreline. The barge-like vessel has a cabin structure and pilothouse and is fitted with a boring mechanism at the bow and two spud piles at the stern. Five crewmembers are standing on the deck beneath the pilothouse. A small launch is tied to the starboard side of the vessel and an earth embankment can be seen along the shoreline in the background. Neither the workplace location nor the name of the vessel is indicated.
