The small dials show exact time in London, Berlin, Paris, Rome, Peiping, Leningrad, New York, Chicago, Denver, San Francisco, Honolulu and Tokio. These run in harmony with master clock. The dials show the relative difference in time of thirteen principal cities of the world. The sphere at the top revolves once in 29 days and 8 hours, and shows correctly the moon's phases. The moon is illuminated. The calendar shows the day of the week, month and date and changes automatically.
The globe represents the earth and makes a revolution every 24 hours. The miniature figures representing man of difference nations march out around the globe every five minutes, accompanied by music. The beautiful chimes are rung every quarter hour by characters representing childhood, youth, manhood and old age. Farther Time strikes the hours.
Louis Meier, inventor, builder, and owner, was born in Bavaria, Germany, 1866.
