Color photographic postcard depicting the Federal Building from the corner of W Fort Street and Washington Boulevard.
Printed on verso: New Federal Building, Detroit, Michigan, houses the United States Post Office and other federal offices. Located on a famous historical site, it was here that the English built a fort which was not captured by the American until 1796. Here, also, Captain Moses Porter raised the American flag over Detroit for the first time.
