Printed on verso: Old City Hall and the Majestic Building Detroit Michigan Razed in 1961, these familiar landmarks will be missed by many Detroiters. Old City Hall was built at a cost of $508,000 and was dedicated July 4, 1871. The Majestic Building, originally the Mabley Bldg., was the highest building in Detroit when it was opened in 1896.
