Postcard
Black and white print size postcard depicting a drawing of the George O. Robinson House.
Printed on verso: The George O. Robinson House, which formerly stood on the corner of Cass Avenue and Ledyard Street in Detroit, was designed in 1875. The architect, Henry T. Brush, has combined the forms of a bracketed Italian villa with cornices, columns, and a cupola of French inspiration. These details add to the elegance and create a play of light and shade greatly admired during the Seventies.
Graphite Drawing by the Detroit artist, James E. Bellaimey (1908-1949)
