One postcard addressed in handwritten black ink text to "Miss Madge C. Maybury, Detroit, Mich., %Capt. George Burtchell, 24 St. - one block south of Baker." The Detroit postmark is dated March 31, 1887. Handwritten text in black ink on the verso shows "Tampa, Florida, 3-28/'87. Dear Madge, We will start tomorrow morning. Will telegraph. Harry all well. H.M. [Henry Maybury]."
