Postcard

One postcard with a color photographic image of the bulk carrier steamship, SS J. B. Ford, of the Huron Portland Cement Company. The photo shows a starboard quarter view of the ship which is underway in fair weather. Trees are visible in the foreground and a shoreline is visible in the background. Black printed text on the verso reads "Welland Canal, Ontario, Canada - Key Link of the Largest Inland Waterway in the World" and "The American carrier J.B. Ford downbound between lock 1 and 2 provides a picturesque view of this important link between the heartland of North America and the seas of the world." The card was "Printed in Canada by Design Library, Inc., 1285 Matheson Blvd., Missisauga, Ont L4W 1R1."
