Postcard

One postcard that shows a color photographic image of a passenger steamship in one of the St. Lawrence Seaway locks. The postcard shows a port quarter view of the ship which is moving slowly out of the lock in fair weather. Black printed text on the verso reads "A large Great Lakes cruise steamer locking though (Lock No. 7). The Iroquois Lock on the new St. Lawrence Seaway. This lock, one of the five built in Canada, has a six foot lift, and provides a by-pass of the Iroquois Control Dam, Canada." The postcard was published by "Cornwall News Distributors, Ltd., Cornwall, Ontario."
