One postcard of the "Bob-Lo-Boat," STE. CLAIRE, of the Bob-Lo Company. The postcard shows a color photographic image that depicts a port side view of the excursion ship which is maneuvering slowly in fair weather on the Detroit River. The decks are crowded with passengers. A treed shoreline is visible in the background. Black printed text in the upper corners reads "International Playground. Black printed text on the verso reads "Steamer Ste. Claire. The Steamer Ste. Claire is one of the two ships sailing from Detroit to and from Bob-Lo Island's international playground. the normal capacity of the Ste. Claire is 2500 passengers." Additional small printed text reads "Curteichcolor, 3-D Natural Color Reproduction (Reg. U.S.A. Pat. Off.)."
