Postcard

One souvenir postcard from the June 6-16, 2024, re-opening celebration of the Michigan Central Railroad station. The event marked the successful completion of the 6-year restoration of the historic station by the Ford Motor Company. The postcard shows a color photographic image that depicts a front corner view of the 18-story station building. A small white "MC" logo is printed in white text in the lower left corner of the postcard and the illegible signature of the photographer is printed in white text in the lower right corner. Small black printed text on the verso reads "Did you know ... The station was originally built in 1913 by the same architectural team that built Grand Central Station in NYC, designed in the Beaux-Arts style." A QR code is also shown along with two website addresses.
