Cadillac Square

Postcard. View of "Cadillac Square looking towards the City Hall. Detroit, Mich." Back reads, "The Cadillac Square was formally devoted entirely to market purposes. The lower end was used for a fish and vegetable market and the upper end for a meat market, but of late years the old buildings have all been abolished and the ground set aside for park purposes. Recently the city went to considerable expense in improving the upper end and erecting a public relief station. On the extreme left is shown the Ford Building, in the center the Hotel Pontchartrain and City Hall, and on the extreme right the Majestic Building."
